Hey, I'm Roland: I've worked in the world of technology for a whole bunch of years, and until recently was the very definition of a middle-manager for Ocado Technology (there's more here on LinkedIn if you're curious).
I'm taking a bit of a career break, so whilst I'm figuring out who I am and what to do next, I'm going to be experimenting with various bits of technology: LLM's - so inevitably ChatGPT, ClaudeAI, probably Google GenAI stuff; probably some other bits of AI/neural net related tech (e.g. OpenAI CLIP); and more playful things such as ThreeJS. I'll probably write the odd thing and maybe post some daft or interesting images or videos.
π Guidelines I'll Try to Follow:
- Any post involving 3D should be:
- Silly.
- Make me laugh (even just a little).
- Bonus: if I learn something and/or it uses audio.
- Anything else should be useful to me and/or someone else. And hopefully interesting.
Why ThreeJS Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
Iβve always been fascinated with 3D stuff, and ChatGPT means (I think/hope) that actually quickly creating silly and/or experimental things in ThreeJS is more achievable. ChatGPT is currently a bit like an over-eager junior engineer, so let's see how far I actually get. So far ....
